My charging structure is simple, easy to understand and straightforward in helping you to calculate your transfer costs.
I only charge (per mile) for the distance of the delivery, collection or transfer journey i.e. the 'A to B'. I do not charge any other fees connected with the service. To calculate the complete cost of your caravan movement simply multiply the distance of the journey by £1.90 per mile. £1.90 per towed mile, no other costs apply.
A journey (door to door) of 157 miles. 157 x £1.90 per mile equals a total transfer cost of £298.30 No other costs apply.
A journey (door to door) of 80 miles. 80 x £1.90 per mile equals a total transfer cost of £152.00. No other costs apply
A journey (door to door) of 47 miles. 47 x £1.90 per mile equals a total transfer cost of £89.30. No other costs apply.

Cancellation Fees
I am highly flexible in terms of accepting that bad weather, changes to customer commitments and other factors can necessitate that a planned transfer is rescheduled, this happens all of the time. However, if there is a complete cancellation of a planned trip within 48 hours of its planned commencement, a one-off cancellation payment of 50% of the fee will be payable by the customer. In all cases I will look to reschedule the transfer to suit all parties
I accept payment by means of cash, all major debit and credit cards, Paypal, cheque or direct bank transfer. Credit and debit card payments are processed in person or by telephone and are securely handled by Natwest, a secure credit and debit card payment provider. You can be certain that all card payments are handled safely and in accordance with industry regulations and best practice. All journeys must be paid for in full at least 72 hours prior to commencement. Upon request, customers will receive an invoice upon receipt of payment.

As a caravanner and motorhomer myself I know that your caravan is very important to you. Whilst in my care your caravan is also very important to me and I will do all that I can to keep it safe, free from damage, treating it with the care, respect and attention that I apply to my own caravan.
Your caravan should be road-worthy and capable of being safely towed on public roads. Particular attention should be paid to the hitchlock towing mechanism, caravan braking system, rear/side lights and especially tyres. All should be in good working order, tyres in particular should be less than five years old (how to check tyre date stamp), be in good overall condition, free from damage (especially any cracking or splitting on the side walls caused by 'weathering'), properly inflated with a spare wheel available. My Isuzu D-Max V-Cross 4xx4 tow vehicle is compatible with Alko's ATC 'Alko Trailer Control' anti-snaking towing safety system which if fitted to your caravan will give extra assurance over safe control when towing. On your behalf (and mine) I will undertake a full check of the caravan (inside & out) to include all the items mentioned above prior to departure. If there are any problems with the caravan and its capability to be towed safely on public roads I will seek to work with you to resolve them on the day of transfer. However, if unresolved concerns regarding safety are incapable of being resolved satisfactorily I will not tow the caravan and a refund will not be provided.
A key part of my business is to be properly and fully insured to cover all eventualities. My 2023 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross 4x4 double cab pick-up is fully insured for commercial use (haulage). I also have a bespoke 'goods in transit' policy that covers damage (or total loss) to caravans in my care (and being towed) up to a value of £40,000 N.B. many other companies offering to transfer your caravan will not have this specialist insurance policy, ask to see a copy of their bespoke caravan insurance policy. I also have public liability insurance with £1,000,000 of cover. I am happy to provide copies of all these policies to all prospective customers. I am enormously proud of my considerate approach to looking after your caravan with great care, I will do my upmost to look after your caravan but I am operating on public roads alongside other road users (of varying competence & capability), it's better to be 'safe than sorry' through the provision of correct insurance and liability cover. As a professional haulier I understand my obligations under UK law to keep everyone safe. I am fully compliant with vehicle (goods) operators requirements, my Isuzu D-Max V-Cross tow vehicle has a certified digital tachograph fitted and all journeys are completed in accordance with UK drivers' hours regulations. You can be sure of great service, care for your caravan and safety on the road at all times.
I will take care to look after your caravan (as if it were my very own) and I have the correct insurances in place to deal with situations when things have not gone to plan. My insurance is comprehensive and wide-ranging but excluded from this cover (or my liability) will be events on the road beyond my control. This includes (but not exclusively): punctures or the failure of tyres or wheels, stone chip damage to caravans (including body & windows), the loss of any part of the caravan i.e. windows, roof hatches, panels, connecting joints/sections, locker doors, aerial etc as a consequence of any manufacturing, structural or maintenance failure. 'Bird or other animal strikes' or any damage caused as a consequence of the 'load' or parts of other vehicles 'falling off' and striking your caravan. Any damage or loss to the inside of the caravan as a consequence of the movement of locker contents, equipment or other items. I will check your caravan thoroughly both inside and out prior to departure to make sure that any possible transit issues are resolved prior to setting off and incidents of damge (referred to above) are thankfully very rare. I will also undertake regular checks during long journeys (inside & out) to make sure that everything is OK. I will always drive safely within the speed limits (and road conditions) and do my very best to meet agreed arrival/departure times. I am however in the hands of the road network and UK weather! I aim to travel safely and look after your caravan (as the priority) and delays to arrival/departure times can be expected from time-to-time. What I can promise is that I will stay in touch with you and keep you appraised of events, including offering you a free 'journey tracking' facility via Whatsapp (see below).
I will listen to your needs and work with you to offer a bespoke package that moves your caravan safely, at a time that suits you, to where it needs to be. I accept payment by cash, all major debit and credit cards, Paypal, cheque or direct bank transfer. Card payments are processed safely via Natwest Bank. All journeys must be paid for in full at least 72 hours prior to commencement. I will issue a full invoice upon receipt of payment and written estimates for caravan transfers are provided (where needed) by means of email. There are no refunds repayable within the 48 hour window prior to departure, I am however happy to re-schedule the caravan transfer with you should that be required. *Please note, any journey that cannot be safely completed within 12 hours on the same day (including return to base) may attract an overnight accommodation charge. This to maintain safety on the road and remain compliant with UK drivers' hours regulations for daily commercial driving. Advice concerning this will be provided as part of service quotation.*
When I am transferring your caravan you will wish to know where I am, how the journey is progressing and what time you can expect me to arrive. As well as keeping in regular contact by telephone and text I will also send you a live tracking link via Whatsapp so you can see in real time where I am and how the delivery/collection of your caravan is progressing. This provides for peace of mind and allows you to plan ahead for my arrival. This tracking option is free of charge, you just need an active Whatsapp account on your smartphone and I will send you a link to follow the journey!
